My favourite ever Radiohead track and done so nicely on a piano. I often play along at home as I love to do the guitar part, which I can pick out. Very cool, I don't have the voice to pull it off but you certainly get close to Thom Yorke's chilling vocal here.

As above, you did well to pull Thom's vocal off.

Wow, this was such an amazing piece. Admittedly, I have not heard the original so I went to youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrZTNhW44-o
First I have to say I love your piano interpretation much better than the original guitar. You're vocals are simply amazing downright amazing.
Beautifully done..!

Any Radiohead album after 'OK Computer' can bite me. 'The Bends' is by far their best IMHO and I also think that Street Spirit is the stand-out track.
This works really well on piano and the extra percussion and guitar are superb - impressive additions to the song without ever overpowering it. There are just a couple of occasions when the vocal is a little overpowering, but overall it is a tremendous performance.
On a technical note (I'm not a very technical person, so bear with me) the mix suddenly seems to get deeper and loses a degree of brightness at 3.42. If this is deliberate then fair enough. It's not a criticism exactly, just something I picked up on.
Overall though I think this is excellent and a really enjoyable listen.

Being musically immature, I also haven't heard the original, and since I avoid all RIAA music whenever possible, I can't compare the two... but I can't imagine that this could have been done any better. The vocals are outstanding, and the music is just... perfection.

The production is pretty vocal heavy but not really so much that it detracts from the whole instrumental cavalcade behind it. Your vocal performance is quite outstanding as usual. I can't really fault you from errors because I couldn't notice any mistakes. The drums maybe lack a little kick but it's really hard to produce good sounding electric drums anyway. You managed good which isn't uncommon of you.
It was enjoyable to say at least. The song won't be on my permanent playlist (as if I had any) but it's definitely worth a few listens more when I'm in the mood for some Radiohead covers. I haven't heard the original but this piece does justice to many things in so many ways.
I'm glad I can enjoy it without projecting any expectations upon it and it probably is one of the factors that makes me think it's a really good piece.
Jolly good show and certainly a job well done.

I don't know the original but as far as I'm concerned, I don't need to after hearing your rendition. This is seriously amazing in every possible way...vocals...piano...just wow!

In the interest of fairness to radiohead, I followed blues' link to the original before listening to this, and thought "okay, a decent track, not the best they've done, but good.." imho your version is much better. the piano is just beautiful, and the mix is fantastically deep and wide.. creating a wonderful ambience. The only slight negative in the track for me (and it is a very minor one) is the snare. can't really say what it is about the snare, but it kinda feels out of place with the other sounds.. not so much when it's lower in the mix, but towards the end when it becomes more "visible"... the rest of the percussion sounds great (hats, kicks, etc.) are those some of those 'new' sounds I've heard mentioned?

Just listening while logged-out...
Like many others here I too don't know this one...
I really do like what I am hearing here an in terms of performance this glows...
The piano part was really enjoyable & is definitly captivating.
I found the mix to be really clear an great quality if there was anything to mention it would be one time maybe???
(I will listen again at somepoint to be sure...) the vocals peaked an distorted slightly...
This did in no way detract from the listening enjoyment but I mention this as I gather you are looking for constructive attributes...
Anyway... I will be playlisting this as it is definitly something I could come back too...
Thanks for the listen!!!
